CBS’s hit drama FBI, a gripping police procedural created by Dick Wolf and Craig Turk, wrapped up its intense sixth season in May. As fans eagerly await the show’s return this fall, FBI Tuesdays is set to make a thrilling comeback on CBS. However, the upcoming season will see a significant shift in the cast dynamics. According to Deadline, Katherine Renee Kane, who has brilliantly portrayed Special Agent Tiffany Wallace since the third season, will be exiting the show in Season 7. Fans can expect to see Tiffany in at least one more episode before her character bids farewell.

Since its debut in 2018, FBI has become one of CBS’s most popular dramas, captivating audiences with its portrayal of the high-stakes world inside the New York field office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The show delves deep into the professional and personal lives of its top agents as they navigate the complexities of crime, intelligence gathering, and national security, all while balancing their demanding jobs with their personal lives.

In recent months, CBS has shown strong support for the series by renewing it for three more seasons. Additionally, the show will see a change in leadership as Mike Weiss takes over as the new executive producer and showrunner for Season 7, succeeding Rick Eid. This transition marks a significant shift for the series, but it’s not the only change. As Kane’s character departs, Deadline also reports that Lisette Olivera will join the cast as a series regular. Olivera will portray Syd, a trained Behavioral Analysis Unit Agent ready to begin fieldwork. Syd is set to take over as the partner of Scola (John Boyd), filling the role left vacant by Kane’s Tiffany.

Who Will Return for Season 7 of ‘FBI’?

With Kane’s departure and Olivera’s arrival, the main cast for Season 7 is expected to include Missy Peregrym, Zeeko Zaki, Jeremy Sisto, Alana De La Garza, and John Boyd. Fans have speculated about a potential romance between the lead characters Maggie (Peregrym) and OA (Zaki), though Peregrym has expressed doubts, stating, “I don’t know if we’d want to mess that up.” The success of FBI has also spawned two spin-offs, FBI: Most Wanted and FBI: International, both of which were renewed for new seasons earlier this year, further solidifying CBS’s confidence in the franchise.

FBI is available to stream on Paramount+ in the U.S. New episodes of Season 7 will begin airing on October 15 at 8 p.m. Stay tuned for more updates!
