In a surprising turn of events, Katherine Renee Kane will be exiting the CBS hit drama series FBI in its upcoming Season 7. According to exclusive information shared with Deadline, Kane’s character, Special Agent Tiffany Wallace, will make an appearance in at least one episode before making her departure.

Kane joined the series during its third season, stepping into the shoes of Kristen Chazal following Ebonee Noel’s exit. The exact reasons behind Kane’s departure remain undisclosed, leaving fans to speculate on what led to this sudden change.

Adding a new layer of intrigue to the show, Lisette Olivera is set to join FBI as a series regular. Olivera will portray Syd, a Behavioral Analysis Unit Agent who will transition into a field agent role. Positioned as the new partner to Scola (played by John Boyd), Syd’s character is expected to bring fresh dynamics to the series. Despite her background as a desk agent, Syd’s multifaceted personality and extensive resume will enable her to quickly adapt to field operations, as per insider sources.

As FBI wrapped up its sixth season in May, the series continues to captivate audiences with its intense portrayal of the inner workings of the New York field office’s criminal division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The show’s dedicated effort to highlight the team’s battles to protect New York City and the nation keeps viewers on the edge of their seats.

The cast of FBI includes notable actors such as Missy Peregrym, Zeeko Zaki, Jeremy Sisto, Alana De La Garza, John Boyd, and, until recently, Katherine Renee Kane. The show is produced by Wolf Entertainment and Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, in association with CBS Studios. The executive producers for the series include Dick Wolf, Mike Weiss, Alex Chapple, Amanda Slater, Rick Eid, and Peter Jankowski.
